Terms and Conditions of Sale
- Definitions: Seller: RVAQ Pty Ltd T/A Recre8 Automotive Group, ASG 4×4, Rambler Vehicles, Spinifex Manufacturing
Buyer: The party listed above under Purchaser Details. In the case of a company/business the directors of that said company are included as buyers.
- Price: Unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Seller or by the Seller’s authorised representative, the price charged and payable for the Goods and/or Services shall be the price in Local Currency at the date the Seller accepts the Order, together with any applicable taxes, charges, and delivery costs in relation to the Goods and/or Services. Prices contained in any Quote or Order for the supply of Goods and/or Services are based on the cost prevailing and the specification supplied at the time of the Quote or Order.
The Seller reserves the right to vary the price if:
(a) there is any movement in the cost of supplying the Goods and/or Services specified in the Order.
(b) if the Goods and/or Services specified in the Order are varied from the Goods and/or Services specified in the Quote, and the Seller provides the Buyer with reasonable notice of any such variation of price.
- Delivery: The Buyer shall pay all handling and delivery charges associated with the Goods and/or Services. Goods are to be picked up at the Seller’s address by the buyer or their nominated carrier or Goods will be delivered to the buyer by the seller or the seller’s nominated carrier. If a delivery date is nominated, the Seller shall take reasonable steps to dispatch the Goods and/or Services on or about that date. However, the Seller does not make any warranty or promises that the Goods and/or Services will be available on that date.
- Delay: Delivery dates are approximate, and Seller shall have no liability to Buyer for Seller’s delay or default in delivery due to transportation delays, shortage of labour, materials, or tooling capacity or other similar causes beyond Seller’s reasonable control. Under no circumstances shall Seller have any liability for penalties or other consequential damages of any kind resulting in whole or part from Seller’s delay in delivering or failure to deliver any products to Buyer as agreed.
- Transport: RVAQ Pty Ltd may assist Buyers in transporting their vehicle to and from our facilities. When we offer this service we use third party commercial carriers. It is the Buyers responsibility to ensure their vehicle is insured during transport. RVAQ Pty Ltd does not cover transit damage.
- Payment: Unless otherwise agreed, payment terms shall be COD. The goods shall remain the property of the Seller & shall not be released to the Buyer until full payment (being cleared funds) of the goods is received. Buyer shall make no deduction without Seller’s written consent. Please refer to below terms:
Payments are required to be made in accordance with the attached deposits schedule.
Additional fees will either be billed at the completion of each assignment or in instalments, at our discretion. Payment of additional invoices is due 7 days after the invoice date
If you have a dispute over an invoice, you have 5 business days from the invoice date to notify us. If you do not notify us within 5 business days, we will take this as acceptance of the invoice.
Any costs incurred in relation to the collection of monies owed to the seller will be on-charged to you. If there is a legal dispute, the state of jurisdiction is Queensland, Australia.
An administration fee of $300 may be charged for each outstanding invoice
- Warranty: All conversions come with a comprehensive warranty. Full terms of the warranty can be found on the website (www.recre8.com.au). It should be noted that the original manufacturer specifies maximum vehicle weights and towing capacities of their vehicle and while RVAQ Pty Ltd offer increased GVM’s, GCM’s and BTC’s we in no way certify or warrant the engine or transmission of the vehicle beyond the capacities outlined by the manufacturer. When the factory GVM, GCM and/or BTC is exceeded additional service and maintenance may be required as well as a sympathetic driving style to ensure longevity from your vehicle.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
- to cancel your service contract with us; and
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion.
Your vehicle comes with a 2 year back to base manufacturer supplied warranty this is beyond your statutory rights. For the sellers full warranty document please refer to recre8.com.au
- Liability: The remedies set forth in these terms and conditions are exclusive, and Seller’s liability under this contract shall in no event extend to indirect, punitive, incidental or consequential damages which Buyer may suffer or incur in connection with the contract between Buyer and Seller, including, but not limited to loss of profits damages or losses resulting from Buyer’s inability to fulfil contracts with third parties. Seller’s liability under the contract between Buyer and Seller under any theory of law shall in no event exceed the purchase price of the goods in question.
- The Seller does not provide provision to refit BSM sensors to the vehicle. These are disconnected during the conversion and can be refitted after delivery by the owner.
- The Seller will extend any standard exhaust system to the extended length of the vehicle. If the vehicle is fitted with an aftermarket exhaust, extra fees may apply to extend this.
- In the conversion process all rear air conditioning is disconnected.
- Additional charges will incur if the vehicle is dirty and requires a clean prior to work being commenced.
Additional charges will incur for any accessories that require to be removed during the conversion process.
Additional works or cleaning charged at $150+GST per hour charged in 15min increments

ASG 4X4 Group Warranty
This warranty applies to all vehicles purchased from ASG 4×4 Group ABN 85 501 893 508
While Recre8 Automotive Group will assist existing customers with their warranty concerns final responsibility for this warranty remains with ASG 4×4 Group ABN 85 501 893 508 and its Director.
All works completed by ASG 4×4 Group were provided with a 12month back to base warranty. This warranty begins on the date on the final invoice.
All repairs (if approved) will be completed in Toowoomba QLD with all transport costs being the responsibility of the purchaser.
Process
If you have a warranty concern relating to a vehicle completed by ASG 4×4 Group please provide the following information via email to warranty@recre8.net.au
– Copy of the ASG 4×4 Group Invoice
– Photo of the whole vehicle
– Detailed photos of the concerns
– Outline the concerns in writing
We review the concerns and pass them onto the previous owner for assessment and formal response. We will advise you of the outcome as we are made aware.

Warranty
Your modified vehicle comes with two warranties as standard – the Original Vehicle Manufacturer Warranty (If still in warranty period) that is provided and administered by the vehicle manufacturer and the ASG 4×4 Warranty that covers the modifications to the vehicle.

ASG 4×4 Warranty and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
- to cancel your service contract with us; and
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion.
Limited Warranty Coverage
ASG 4×4 is committed to ensuring satisfaction with your modified vehicle.
From the commencement date (listed in the front of this document), our warranty applies and extends for 2 years or 75,000 km (whichever comes first) on all modification carried out in our original scope of works excluding mechanical works. Mechanical works warranty applies for 12 months or 40,000km (whichever occurs first)
Any warranty work done on your vehicle, including approved parts and labour are taken care of at no cost to you. This warranty does not substitute or replace the original vehicle warranty provided by the OE manufacturer.
All warranty work is completed under a back to base agreement only with delivery to and collection from the seller being the responsibility of the buyer.
Mechanical
Mechanical works includes Tail Shaft modification, addition of a centre bearing and bracing works to the rear differential.
Drivetrain
Engine and Transmission is covered by the OE Vehicle Warranty unless the failure is as a direct result of modifications carried out by ASG 4×4. In any situation where modification by ASG 4×4 is suspected to have caused a driveline failure ASG 4×4 will require a written determination from the OE Manufacturer or their representative.
ASG 4×4 will arrange upon receipt of written determination an independent third party inspection of the vehicle and if that inspection supports the view of the OE representative will cover appropriate repairs.
Finishes
All finishes are guaranteed to be fit for purpose for the duration of the warranty. Paint and Powdercoat require regular cleaning with appropriate cleaning and polishing products to ensure longevity. Stone chips, scratches and other damage should be promptly and appropriately repaired to ensure longevity.
What is Not Covered
OE Vehicle
Any Original Equipment is not covered by this warranty nor is any item covered un the factory supplied warranty.
Tyre and Wheel Damage or Wear
Normal tyre wear and tear or wear-out is not covered. Tyre wear is influenced by many variables such as road conditions, driving styles, vehicle weight, and tyre construction. Uneven tyre wear is a normal condition, and it not considered a defect. Road hazard damage such as punctures, cuts, snags, and breaks resulting from pothole impact, kerb impact, or from other objects is not covered. Tyre wear due to misalignment is not covered. Also, damage from improper mounting or dismounting, misuse, negligence, alteration, improper repair, accident, collision, fire, vandalism, or misapplication is not covered. Damage to sidewalls caused by automatic car washes or cleaning agents is not covered.
Damage Due to Accident, Misuse, or Alteration
The ASG 4×4 Warranty does not cover damage caused as a result of the following:
- Accident, fire, theft, vandalism, or objects striking the vehicle (including inside the vehicle).
- Misuse of the vehicle such as driving over kerbs, overloading (including towing), racing, or other competition.
- Operating the vehicle after the defect is known.
- Alteration or modification to the vehicle by anyone not authorised by ASG 4×4.
- Coverages do not apply if the odometer has been altered, or kilometres cannot be determined.
- Installation of parts or accessories not recommended by ASG 4×4.
- Water or fluid contamination.
- Damage resulting from hail, floods, windstorms, lightning, and other environmental conditions.
- Alteration of glass parts by application of tinting films.
- Damages resulting from stone chips or scratches (including rust)
Important: This warranty is void on vehicles currently or previously listed on the “Written off Vehicles Register” in your State or Territory.
Damage Due to Insufficient or Improper Maintenance
Damage caused by failure to follow the recommended maintenance schedule intervals and/or failure to use or maintain proper fluids, or maintain fluids between recommended maintenance intervals, fuel, lubricants, or refrigerants recommended in the Owner’s Manual is not covered.
Damage Due to Impact, Use, or the Environment
Windshield or glass cracks, chips, or scratches due to impact are not covered. Lights, lenses, mirrors, paint, grille, mouldings, and trim are not covered for cracks, chips, scratches, dents, dings, and punctures or tears as a result of impact with other objects or road hazards. In addition, cracks, chips, scratches, or other damage to the face of a radio or instrument cluster from impact or foreign objects are not covered.
Maintenance
Your ASG 4×4 Warranty does not extend to services such as brake adjustments, brake replacement, replacement of filters, wiper rubbers, etc., which are required as part of normal vehicle maintenance. All vehicles require periodic maintenance. Maintenance services, such as those detailed in the Owner’s Manual are the owner’s expense. Vehicle lubrication, cleaning, or polishing are not covered. Failure of or damage to components requiring replacement or repair due to vehicle use, wear, exposure, or lack or maintenance is not covered.
ADAS System
Modern vehicles have complex Advanced Driver Assistance Systems that are calibrated to the vehicle when it is built. During this remanufacturing process these systems are modified and some sensors are relocated.
We warrant that the system is calibrated and working correctly at time of delivery. Given the complex nature of these systems we do not offer any warranty on future faults or failures.
Other Expenses
Warranty excludes downtime expenses, loss of vehicle/equipment use, rental of any other vehicle or related equipment while repairs are in progress, or other incidental, consequential, or special damages.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ALTERATIONS AND WARRANTIES.
The ASG 4×4 Warranty does not cover any damage or failure resulting from modifications, installations, or alterations to the vehicle by anyone not authorised by ASG 4×4.

We commit to responding to all warranty claims in a timely manner and keeping our customers up to date throughout the process.
Our Warranty Process follows the following steps:
Step 1: Assessment of claim – we may ask you for more information or photos
Step 2: Claim Outcome – We will advise you if your claim is approved or not and provide our reasoning for this decision.
Step 3: If Approved – We will provide you with a repair plan.
The ASG 4×4 Warranty is a back to base warranty. We will endeavour (at the discretion of ASG 4×4) attempt to rectify warranty issues in or near the location where you reside through authorised third parties.
While all efforts are made minimise travel and inconvenience ASG 4×4 accepts no liability for costs incurred for transport the vehicle to the closest appropriate repairer.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT WARRANTIES.
ASG 4×4 will not pay any claim or repair that has not been specifically approved in writing by ASG 4×4 prior to the repair being commenced.
