This is where a chassis extension comes into play. We extend the chassis of the vehicle in front of the suspension adding between 300mm and 450mm to the overall wheel base. By doing this we increase not only the load space but improve weight distribution and ride characteristics including when towing.

What's included in an ASG4x4 Chassis extension?

Chassis Extension
By moving the rear axle back, we’re able to create more stability under heavy loads and towing. Having the rear axle closer to the centre of the tray offers better weight distribution.
We offer a range of chassis extensions. Our most common stretches are 300mm and 600mm.

Engineering
Our chassis extension channels are designed and manufactured to meet the parameters of the OE chassis. Our extension channels are further strengthened with the use of engineered internal sleeving that extend beyond the chassis extension itself.
