300 Series Dual Cab Conversions
ASG 4X4
The Toyota 300 Series LandCruiser - what a 4WD.
Built on the LandCruiser platform, Australia's 4WD, known and loved across the land.
The problem is: if you start to set it up for touring and add a bit of weight in the boot and throw a caravan on the back – the 4WD starts to move around on the road a bit too much (and you run out of space too quickly!) Being too squished and not feeling steady on the road isn’t a great way to start off.
If you’re looking to tour in a 300 series or load it up with tools – do it the right way with a dual cab conversion. With a chassis extension, a GVM upgrade and a quality tray all standard with our builds, you can finally build a 4WD you love.
Why a dual cab conversion?
Function
Converting your wagon and extending the wheel base dramatically improves load space and load carrying ability.
Comfort
Often the creature comforts and space of the Landcruiser or the Patrol far exceed other dual cab ute on the market.
Quality
The conversion process creates a finished vehicle that is equal to the original manufacturers quality giving you peace of mind.

Why settle for almost when we can make it the right solution.
We get how frustrating it is to have to compromise with vehicle. You love the comfort and power of a 300 Series Wagon but it lacks practicality.

Chassis Extension
Once the dual cab conversion is complete the next stage is to extend the chassis length to suit. The chassis extension not only allows for the tray or canopy space on the rear but also improves the ride, load carrying ability and towing characteristics of the vehicle.
Extensive engineering is undertaken to ensure the end result not only meets but exceeds the OE manufacturer specifications.
Do you intend on carrying heavy loads constantly or maybe tow a big van or boat? Ask us about our SuperChassis™ upgrade.

ASG 4X4
The ASG 4x4 Approach.
When we took delivery of the new Toyota 300 series, the ASG4x4 team saw the potential to go above and beyond the standard dual cab conversion that many can offer.
Our key focus with the 300 Series Dual Cab package was to look at it as a complete package to ensure we were adding real value and benefit through the conversion process.
We found the limitations in the vehicle and planned upgrades in our conversion.
We took our learnings from over 1000 LC200 conversions and refined that during the engineering process,
We added global industry technologies that matched the LC300 OEM build qualities,
We worked with aftermarket manufacturers to ensure we had solutions to the problems we couldn’t solve in-house… and then finished the project with the ASG4x4 finesse.

Engineering.
Toyota stepped up the engineering and manufacturing technologies with the 300 Series, so we stepped ours up to match.
After assessing how to incorporate our real panel into the aluminium roof, we realised that only one option maintained the structural integrity – that was cold metal transfer welding. Used in Europe by the world’s leading car manufacturers, this process allows us to fully weld the aluminium roof turret to our sheet metal rear cab panel. The benefit of this process is that in the long term, there are no glue seams in the roof that could gradually break down. It also allows us to maintain seamless body curves and shapes, consistent with the iconic factory silhouette.
The real benefit to this process, however, is that we have been able to keep the weight rating consistent with the wagon, even after losing the two rear mounting points.
Fuel Storage
With the help of Brown Davis we have developed a mid-mount fuel tank, taking the fuel capacity from 110L up to 200L without adding additional weight behind the rear axle. These custom tanks are available for both midi and long models
Models and Specifications
All options are available under Federal Second Stage of manufacture as well as post rego state compliance.
